There is Tons of Confusion on how to exactly measure your fitness and actually see results and progress from your aerobic efforts

Here is a Really simple test you use to test your recovery

  • 1 Min Max Meters on Rower
  • 5 Minute Rest
  • 1 Min Max Meters On Rower

Over time DECREASE REST BY :30 Seconds

Until you can’t rest for longer than you can maintain a repeatable pace



If you rowed 300 meters in

Part A


Part B

But if you rested too long now you only Rowed 300/250

Then that would indicate you didn’t rest for long enough


& now you should have a better metric for gaging your recovery and the time it takes you to recover fully
